A Deleted Tweet From Marvel Sparks Speculation That MOON KNIGHT Is Getting a Season 2
With the final episode of Marvel’s Moon Knight dropping tomorrow, a lot of fans have been wondering if we will be getting a second season. It just seems like there’s so much more story to tell with this character, and there’s no way they are going to be able to wrap it all up in one more episode.
With the character being such a big hit with fans, there’s no way that Marvel is done with the character yet. I imagine that the series is going to close out with the phrase, “Moon Knight Will Return.”
Well, a Marvel fan on Reddit noticed a deleted tweet on the official Marvel Studios account that said, "This Wednesday, experience the epic series finale of Marvel Studios’ #MoonKnight, only on @DisneyPlus."
After the tweet was deleted, it was replaced with a new tweet with a little difference. That tweet read, "This Wednesday, experience the epic season finale of Marvel Studios’ #MoonKnight, only on @DisneyPlus."
They changed the word "series" to "season," which leads fans to believe that Marvel is planning another season of the show. The word change definitely keeps the door open for the show to continue. I hope that we get a Moon Knight Season 2! This has been such a wild and different series, and I love Oscar Isaac’s characters in the series.
Oscar Isaac previously talked about the future of Moon Knight with Variety, saying, "I had heard of the golden handcuffs. That was something that I was reticent about. And luckily, we all agreed that this [show] is what we’re going to focus on. This is the story. And if there’s any kind of future, I think it just depends on if people like it, if people want to see more, and if we find a story that’s worth telling."
So, the question is, do you want to see more Moon Knight?
