A Diabolical Spirt Is Unleashed in the Final Trailer for Guillermo del Toro's ANTLERS

A wonderfully creepy final trailer had been released for producer Guillermo del Toro and director Scott Cooper’s upcoming horror thriller Antlers. I’m actually really excited about this movie! I’ve liked all of the horrific and nightmarish footage I’ve seen from it so far, and I just hope the movie will end up being as good as it looks!

The film is an adaptation of a short story titled “The Quiet Boy” from Channel Zero creator Nick Antosca. The film stars Keri Russell as a school teacher in a small town who begins to suspect something is seriously wrong with one of her young students. Here’s the brief plot summary:

In ANTLERS, a small-town Oregon teacher (Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.

When talking about the influence of the film, Copper previously explained, “I was so influenced early on by the work of John Carpenter, like Halloween, or certainly The Exorcist, which is a favorite of mine, or even Tarkovsky’s Stalker. So I’m able to bring all of that into one film which is exciting.”

Antlers is set to be released on April 17th, 2020.
