A Family Trip Turns Into a Tense and Terrifying Nightmare in Trailer for SPEAK NO EVIL
I’ve got a trailer here for Shudder’s intense-looking horror film Speak No Evil. In the film, a Danish family accepts an invitation to the rural home of a Dutch family that they met on holiday. When they go on this trip, their lives are altered in an unexpected, deeply horrifying way. The whole experience turns into a tense and terrifying nightmare. There are definitely some sinister and mysterious things going on.
The movie was directed by Christian Tafdrup from a script he wrote with his brother Mads Tafdrup and the synopsis reads:
On a vacation in Toscana, a Danish family instantly becomes friends with a Dutch family. Months later, the Danish couple receives an unexpected invitation. It doesn't take long before the joy of reunion is replaced with misunderstandings.
“Misunderstandings” might be too light of a word to use here. When you watch the trailer you’ll get a better look at what’s going on.
Speak No Evil stars Fedja van Huêt, Sidsel Siem Koch, Morten Burian, Karina Smulders, Liva Forsberg, and Marius Damslev. The movie opens in theaters on September 9th and arrives on Shudder on September 15th.
