A Fan Edit of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Adds Force Ghosts During the Climax
During the climactic ending of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, when Rey faces off with Emperor Palpatine, she receives encouragement and aid in her hour of need from several of the Jedi Knights who had passed. We only hear the voices of these characters in the movie, but I was expecting to see the actual Force Ghosts! Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
However, I’ve got an awesome fan edit to share with you that was created by YouTube user jon h, and in it, as Rey makes her “I am all the Jedi” declaration, she is backed up by the Force Ghosts of Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda, who help the young Jedi Knight defeat the Dark Lord of Sith. It’s pretty awesome! This is much better than what J.J. Abrams ended up doing! What an awesome missed opportunity.
