A Former Special Forces Team Sets Out to Rob a Drug Cartel in First Awesome Trailer for Netflix's TRIPLE FRONTIER
Netflix has released the first trailer for an awesome looking new action heist thriller called Triple Frontier. The story centers on a group of former Special Forces operatives who embark on a mission to rob one of the world’s most violent cartels.
The film also features a pretty incredible all-star cast that includes Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal. That cast alone is enough to get me excited about seeing this, but the film itself actually looks like it could be one of Netflix’s best!
It’s explained that the special forces group “reunites and plans a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers, these unsung heroes undertake this dangerous mission for self instead of country. Things take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival.”
The film was written and directed by J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year), and I’m pretty excited about watching it. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
