A Group of Campers Turn Into Bloody-Thirsty Monsters in Trailer For THE EVIL IN US

A group of young friends travel to a cabin in the woods for a little getaway to drink, do drugs, and party and while they are there, bad shit starts to happen. This film concept has been done to death for horror films but for some reason, there are filmmakers out there who think they can put a fresh new spin on it.

We have a trailer for a new film called The Evil In Us and it's basically the same cabin in the woods movie formula that we've been seeing since Sam Raimi made Evil Dead. This is all his fault! I guess there's a market out there for it though of people still watching these movies, and those people must shop at Walmart because that is where the film is being exclusively released.

Here's the synopsis:

Six school friends meet up for a fourth of July celebration on a remote island off the Washington coast for a weekend of fun and partying. But the good times quickly turn into a nightmare when they unknowingly take a new bio-active drug containing a virus that causes fits of psychotic rage. Only one girl, Brie, doesn’t take the drug and she alone must fight to stay alive as her friends slowly turn into bloodthirsty cannibals. Trapped on the island, Brie must endure the unimaginable and fight for her life.

The movie comes from writer and director Jason William Lee and it will be released on July 4th at Walmart. It will later be released on VOD and digital platforms on August 29th. Shortly after that, I'm sure you'll be able to find it in the $5 dump bin.

I love watching horror movies and even bad ones, but I'm not going anywhere near this because it looks like garbage. If you're into these kinds of films, though, then I hope you enjoy it. Here's the trailer.
