A Heartbroken Man is Trapped in a Bathroom with J.K. Simmons's Voice in Trailer For The Horror Film GLORIOUS

Shudder has released a trailer for a new horror film titled Glorious. The film is described as a Lovecraftian horror film about a heartbroken man named Wes who finds himself trapped in a bathroom with a strange voice who says he may be the only hope in stopping a terrible event.

The film stars Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) as the young man who’s spiraling out of control after a bad breakup. The strange voice in the bathroom is an otherworldly monster that is voiced by none other than J.K. Simmons. As the man tries to escape, he realizes he is an unwilling player in a situation bigger than he could have imagined.

The story takes Wes “deep into his own psyche as he wrestles with fate and a glimpse of the unthinkable in this Lovecraft-inspired comic horror.”

The film looks interesting and it comes from director Rebekah McKendry (All the Creatures Were Stirring, Tales of Halloween) from a script by Joshua Hull, David Ian McKendry and Todd Rigney.

Glorious premieres on August 18th, only on Shudder.
