A High School Put on an Awesome Stage Play Based on Ridley Scott's ALIEN and There's a Trailer and Video
When I was in high school we put on a pretty great production of West Side Story. As much fun as that was, I would have loved to put on a stage play version of a film like Evil Dead or Alien! There’s no way in hell they would have let that fly back in the day, though.
We are living in different times, though, and high schools are trying new things. North Bergen High School in New Jersey recently developed full-length version of Ridley Scott’s classic sci-fi horror film Alien. They called it Alien: The Play, and it was directed by Perfecto Cuervo, who is an English teacher, alongside his student players.
They even released a trailer for the play that you can watch below. I’ve also included some cool video and photos from the production that were posted on Twitter. It may come off as a little goofy, but it’s still super fantastic! I love the Xenomorph design that they came up with!
Check out the videos and photos below and let us know what you think!
