A Journalist Tries to Expose a Terrorist Recruiter in Trailer for Timur Bekmambetov's New Thriller PROFILE
Focus Features has released a trailer for an upcoming new thriller titled Profile, which comes from director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted).
The story follows an undercover British journalist “in her quest to bait and expose a terrorist recruiter through social media, while trying not to be sucked in by her recruiter and lured into becoming a militant extremist herself.”
The movie is inspired by a true story, and it’s described as an unconventional thriller as the story plays out entirely on a computer screen in the Screenlife format. It looks like a good film that tells a fascinating and intense story
Bekmambetov also co-wrote the script with Britt Poulton and Olga Kharina, and the film stars Valene Kane and Shazad Latif. Profile is set to be released on May 14th.
