A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS Star Dexter Sol Ansell Dressed As His Character Egg For World Book Day at School
HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was a delightful left turn in the world of George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones book and TV universe. The show follows prospective knight Ser Duncan the Tall and his young squire, Egg, as they wander Westeros facing danger and navigating the politics of the Targaryen dynasty. The pair were delightfully charming, bringing viewers in weekly until the first season was sadly through, but we have one more treat to share with you via the show’s young Egg actor, Dexter Sol Ansell.
Ansell posted a couple of photos on his Instagram stories of him in costume, headed to school for World Book Day, which is celebrated in UK grade schools, where kids dress as their favorite literary character, and receive a voucher to spend on books.
Naturally, the kid was already equipped to dress as the character he portrays on the popular HBO series, so he got back into full costume, grabbed his copy of the book the show is based on, and went ahead and won the internet.
