A Live-Action STAR WARS Series Focusing on Ahsoka Tano is Reportedly in Development at Lucasfilm
Ahsoka Tana is going to make her big long-awaited live-action debut in The Mandalorian Season 2. Rosario Dawson will be taking on the role of the character and according to ace scooper DanielRPK, Lucasfilm is reportedly developing a series that will focus on the character for Disney+.
I don’t think this should come as a surprise to anyone. We all knew that we would see Ahsoka’s story continue once the live-action version of her was introduced. On top of that, it was previously reported that Dawson's contract to play Ahsoka Tano is a multi-show deal. On top of that, we also might actually see the character pop up in other shows that are being developed.
There’s also a chance that this could be the female-led Star Wars series that’s currently being developed by Russian Doll showrunner Leslye Headland. There were no details on the plot to share for that, but it was reported that it will be an “action thriller with martial arts elements and set in an alternate timeline from the usual Star Wars universe.”
None of this news has been confirmed. The only confirmation we have regarding Ahsoka right now is that Dawson is playing her and that she’ll appear in The Mandalorian Season 2.
If Ahsoka Tano is getting a series of her own, what would you like to see from the series?
