A MAN ON THE INSIDE Series Starring Ted Danson Renewed by Netflix for Season 3
The TV series A Man on the Inside has been renewed by Netflix for a third season. The news comes two months after the second season debut of the streaming comedy.
Ted Danson (Cheers, The Good Place) stars in the series as Charles Nieuwendyk. Season 2 also consisted of: Mary Steenburgen, Max Greenfield, Gary Cole, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz, Michaela Conlin, Lisa Gilroy, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Madison Hu, Sam Huntington, Jason Mantzoukas, Constance Marie, Linda Park, David Strathairn, and Jill Talley.
The series is based on the documentary The Mole Agent, and it follows Charles, a retired, grieving professor who becomes a "mole" for a private investigator to solve a theft within a San Francisco retirement community. Mike Schur created the series and serves as an executive producer via Fremulon.
Morgan Sackett is also an executive producer along with David Miner of 3 Arts Entertainment, Maite Alberdi and Marcela Santibañez of Micromundo Producciones, and Julie Goldman and Christopher Clements of Motto Pictures. Universal Television is the studio.
