A Marvel and Audi Crossover Promotion May Reveal Who Saves Tony Stark in AVENGERS: ENDGAME
As we all saw in the Avengers: Endgame trailer, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is stuck in space with Nebula (Karen Gillan) and their supplies are dwindling. Stark is at death’s door and fans have been wondering how he might end up getting out of it.
Well, it looks like a Marvel crossover promotion with Audi may reveal who comes to save them. This is part of a new virtual reality experience and if you don’t want to know anything more than that, I suggest you stop reading now. The following is speculation put together by connecting dots.
The announcement of the VR experience came during a presentation at this year's CES (Consumer Electronics Show), and it’s there that Audi revealed they've partnered up with Marvel for it. According to CB, Audi is going to turn the backseat of their newly-announced "e-tron GT" model into a VR game-playing experience.
They also announced that the VR experience will be called Marvel's Avengers: Rocket's Rescue Run, in which players will be racing through asteroids as they attempt to rescue someone. Who could it be that Rocket is going to rescue? It seems like it could be Tony Stark and Nebula.
It would make sense for Rocket to be the one to find them and save them. After Rocket watched his best friend Groot die after Thanos snapped his fingers, it’s not hard to imagine that Rocket would want to embark on a mission to track down and find any surviving members of his Guardians family in hopes that they are alive. On that journey he could end up finding Stark and Nebula, where he will learn the sad fate of his friends.
That’s all just speculation, but it’s speculation that makes sense to me. Of course, there’s always the chance that there’s nothing to this new VR game and we fans are just seeing things that we want to see.
Do you think Rocket is the one that is going to rescue Stark and Nebula? If not, what are some of your other theories on what will happen with these characters as they are stuck floating around in deep space?
