A Movie Theater Accidentally Showed A Preview For HEREDITARY Before PETER RABBIT
A theater in Australia had to give some free tickets out after a screening of Peter Rabbit was preceded by a trailer for A24's latest horror film Hereditary. For those not familiar with the latter film, this is the upcoming possession horror where a woman's deceased mother begins to possess her grandchildren and haunt their family. If you watch the trailer, you'll notice things kind of start off like a preview for another children's film, but then derail very quickly:
Theater goers reported parents were seen sprinting out of the theater with their children in tow and screaming at the projectionist to turn the trailer off. All patrons received a complimentary ticket for the potentially scarring event, which should smooth things over.
Honestly I'm jealous I wasn't there to witness something like that. The craziest thing I ever had happen was I went to a 3D film that wasn't switched to 3D until 15 minutes into the film. We didn't get a refund. Anyone else have an experience similar to this happen to them?
