A New Rumor Says METROID PRIME TRILOGY Will Launch on Switch Next Month

Rumors have been flying for a while now about Metroid Prime Trilogy launching on the Nintendo Switch. Well, we just got another piece that makes it a little more likely. According to ComicBook.com, the Swedish game retailer Inet had a listing for a port with a release date set for June 19, but by the time I went to check out the source, the page was down and giving me a 404 error.

Now, many fans are saying there’s no way Nintendo would do such a quick release with no word before now, but with the current climate I could see them doing a surprise drop for this to help raise some morale. If we were talking about Metroid Prime 4, that would be a completely different story. After all, MPT is a port of classic games most likely while MP4 is a brand new game and therefore a much bigger deal.

I’m still taking all of this with a giant heap of salt, but what do you think? Will we be seeing MPT on the Nintendo Switch any time soon?
