A New STAR WARS Animated Series Is in Development Titled STAR WARS: TALES OF THE JEDI

One of the biggest and most exciting conventions comes to the Anaheim Convention Center this year, Star Wars Celebration!

This is an event that I wish I could get into, however, I am not that lucky. For those of you who are going to be there, there is a panel taking on Saturday afternoon for a new Star Wars animated series in development titled Tales of the Jedi, check this out.

They call it an “animated anthology series,” and the special guest is the one and only Dave Filoni. What the crap! This is all news to me, but is sounds pretty exciting. Filoni brought us Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Mandalorian.

This should be exciting considering that there is already a Star Wars property called Tales of the Jedi. It is a Dark Horse published comic from 1993. It is a collection of stories that cover the Great Sith War and the Great Hyperspace War. I understand that these may no longer be considered cannon, but Filoni has a way of making non-canon characters canon.

Since I won’t be there to see it happen live, I will be looking forward getting more details on Saturday May 28th. Please let us know what you think.
