A Nice Vacation Turns Into a Complete Nightmare in Trailer for the Horror Film THE BEACH HOUSE
With the horrors of the world that we’re living in these days, a nice and relaxing vacation actually sounds really good right now. But then after watching this trailer for the upcoming horror movie The Beach House, I think things could worse and more horrific even while on vacation.
The Beach House is a film coming to Shudder, and it finds four people who are staying in a beach house but while there, they find themselves dealing with some crazy weird and creepy shit. The movie is said to entail “cosmic horror,” and it looks like it may have been inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft.
Here’s the synopsis:
Escaping to his family’s beach house to reconnect, Emily and Randall find their off-season trip interrupted by Mitch and Jane Turner, an older couple acquainted with Randall’s estranged father. Unexpected bonds form as the couples let loose and enjoy the isolation, but it all takes an ominous turn as increasingly strange environmental phenomena begin to warp their peaceful evening. As the effects of an infection become evident, Emily struggles to make sense of the contagion before it’s too late.
The Beach House was written and directed by Jeffrey A. Brown, and it stars Liana Liberato, Noah Le Gros, Jake Weber, and Maryanne Nagel. The movie will be released on the horror streaming service on July 9th.
