A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was released in 1987 and it was directed by Chuck Russell. The movie continues the story of Freddy Krueger, a supernatural serial killer who haunts the dreams of teenagers and kills them in their sleep.
In this film, a group of teenagers in a psychiatric hospital share a collective nightmare of Freddy. Led by Kristen, played by Patricia Arquette, and aided by Nancy Thompson, the survivor from the first film, the “Dream Warriors” must learn to harness their dream powers and confront Freddy in order to survive.
As the story plays out, the Dream Warriors discover their individual dream abilities and combine their powers to fight against Freddy's sadistic terror.
