A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Star Heather Langenkamp Wants One Final Fight with Freddy Krueger
A Nightmare on Elm Street star Heather Langenkamp is making the press rounds due to her role in Netflix and Mike Flanagan’s The Midnight Club, and it’s hard to talk to the actress and not bring up Freddy Krueger. During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, her iconic role in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise was brought up, and she said she would be up for returning for another film to fight Freddy one final time!
She said: “If Nancy could fight Freddy one last time, I would really like that. Gosh, I’d love to see a future in that. I’ve been really watching the Halloween saga that’s been out, and I love watching Jamie Lee Curtis get to play that part. You know, this age, where I think we have so much to give to those storylines, but yeah, I wish I was in control of that, but, unfortunately, it’s one of those Hollywood very complicated things.”
If we ever did get a new Nightmare on Elm Street movie, I would love to see Langenkamp return as Nancy and face off with Freddy again! But… Nancy was killed off in Dream Warriors back in the 1980s. Regardless, that never stopped Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode from coming back!
