A Quick Look at Acer's Gaming Monitors from CES 2021

Last week during CES 2021, Acer revealed 3 new gaming monitors which are the first TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified gaming monitors. That means that these monitors are designed to emit less high-energy blue light associated with eye damage. The first monitor is the 27” Predator XB273U NX. With a WQHD (2560x1440) resolution, 275Hz refresh rate when overclocked, and up to a 0.5 ms response time, this monitor is designed to provide smooth and tear-free visuals. Plus, the monitor is HDR capable and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 spectrum to provide deeper blacks and more vibrant colors. If that’s not enough, the monitor features NVIDIA G-SYNC and NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer to further improve performance. North American players will be able to enjoy this monitor in May for $1,099.99.

Next, we have the Predator XB323QK NV monitor with a UHD (3840x2160) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate on a 31.5” screen. This monitor also features NVIDIA G-SYNC and has 90% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. You can enjoy this monitor in North America come May for $1,199.99.

Finally, we have the Nitro XV282K KV which offers a 4K UHD (3840x2160) resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio that covers 90% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. It also features AMD FreeSync Premium and a 1 ms response time for smooth gameplay. This monitor also comes with an HDMI 2.1 cable to connect to the latest gaming consoles and show off everything they have to offer including a variable refresh rate.
