A Retro Telephone Reborn as an Awesome Mech

With enough skill and creativity, it’s wild what forgotten tech can become, and Roborovski proves it by turning an old Panasonic KX-T7420 office telephone into a seriously cool mech figure.

The build, dubbed “The Relay Warden,” isn’t just inspired by the phone, it’s made entirely from it, with every limb, panel, and detail kitbashed straight from the original parts. There’s no paint involved, no extra hardware, and no 3D-printed add-ons, which makes the transformation even more impressive since the original colors, textures, and shapes do all the heavy lifting.

The end result looks like a purposeful, battle-ready mech that still carries the unmistakable DNA of retro office tech, turning something once destined for a junk drawer into a striking piece of mech art that shows how far imagination and careful craftsmanship can go.
