We’ve got a short film for you to check out today called Rust in Peace that was written and directed by Will Welles. The film is beautifully shot with the panoramic desert landscape as its backdrop. The story follows a robot that wakes up in a junk yard, and treks across the desert to the home of his creator. The whole thing is really sad, and doesn’t have the resolution I was hoping for, but it was really well done, and left me wanting to know more about the backstory and future of the two characters.
