A Secret Service Agent is Torn Between His Duty and His Belief's in Trailer For Netflix's BODYGUARD

Netflix has released the first trailer for a great looking series called Bodyguard. The series stars Richard Madden (Robb Stark from Game of Thrones) as a secret service agent who is assigned to protect someone with political views he doesn’t agree with. This is the same actor who is said to be up for the role of James Bond after Daniel Craig is done, so this trailer will kind of give you an idea of what that might be like.

The series was already released in the UK where it was a big hit. I love what I’m seeing in this first trailer and I’ll definitely be binge-watching it when it’s released. The series comes with a compelling premise and some intense action. What’s there not to be excited about!? Here’s the synopsis:

Set in and around the corridors of power, Bodyguard tells the story of David Budd (Richard Madden), a heroic, but volatile war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for London’s Metropolitan Police Service. When he is assigned to protect the ambitious Home Secretary Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes), Budd finds himself torn between his duty and his beliefs. Responsible for her safety, could he become her biggest threat?

Bodyguard also stars Keeley Hawes (High Rise, MI-5) and it hits Netflix on October 24, 2018. Will you be watching?
