A Sequel Has Been Confirmed For The Live-Action FULL METAL ALCHEMIST Movie

The makers of the live-action Full Metal Alchemist film are already confirming a sequel, and we still have months before the first one is released! Comicbook reports that the director and lead actor confirmed the news at Anime Expo 2017 during their panel.

Fans who were in attendance report that the sequel will be a continuation of the first film, and that the second film is required as the anime is so long. As always I would love to be excited for this news, but live-action anime adaptations have disappointed me too often in the past for me to get really excited about this. I guess we'll wait and see how the film does to see if fans feel the same way. The first installment of the live-action film is releasing December 1st.
