A Special Edition of FAHRENHEIT 451 Requires You to Heat the Pages to Read
Fahrenheit 451 is one of my favorite novels. It was written by Ray Bradbury and takes place in a world where the totalitarian government has banned and burned all books. This allows them to completely control the information that the people have access to.
It’s a great read in my opinion, and now Super Terrain, a nonprofit graphic design studio, has made a special and ironic version of the book. The Super Terrain version features black pages that you have to apply heat to in order for the text to be revealed.
This sounds really cool to me, but sadly, the coolness does not outweigh the price. You can pre-order the book (only 100 copies of this version will be made) for a measly 395 euros or roughly $451.
Is this something the bookworm in your life would like?
