A Ton of TRANSFORMERS Toys Rolled Out at Toy Fair 2020

New York Toy Fair 2020 was this past weekend and there were a lot of awesome new toys revealed. Hasbro revealed a whole slew of new Transformers toys and I’m here to bring you the details. We learned about new figures in the Generations War for Cybertron Earthrise Waves 2 and 3, Studio Series Waves 2 and 3, Generations WFC Netflix Wave 1, Generations Selects, BotBots Goldrush Series 5 Tribes, and Cyberverse lines. Let’s get gawking.

Generations WFC Earthrise Wave 2 & 3

Standing at 5.5” and costing $19.99 we have WFC-E17 Arcee (August 1), WFC-E35 Decepticon Fasttrack (October 1), WFC-E19 Quintesson Allicon (August 1), WFC-E18 Airwave Modulator (August 1), WFC-E20 Smokescreen (August 1), and WFC-E37 Runamuck (October 1). Then, at 11” fans will be able to enjoy Commander WFC-E24 Sky Lynx for $79.99 on July 1. Sky Lynx can go from bird and lynx modes to bird-lynx mode in 22 steps, from bird to shuttle transport in 35, and lynx to Modular Battle Station in 20.

WFC-E25 Scorponok is a new Titan figure that will stand 21” tall and cost fans $159.99 on August 1. He can transform into Modular Battle Station Mode in 39 steps and then in 33 steps change to scorpion mode. In addition, fans get Lord Zarak who becomes Scorponk’s head in robot mode.

If the above are too rich for your blood, you can find a number of 1.5” figures for $5.99 in the Battle Masters designation including: WFC-E13 Slitherfang (August 1) and WFC-E39 Decepticon Doublecrosser (October 1). For $9.99 fans will find the Micromaster figures that come in packs of two on August 1. The WFC-E16 Astro Squad 2-pack will feature 1.5” figures for Autobot Blast Master and Fuzer that combine to create a space shuttle in 16 steps. The WFC-E15 Race Track Patrol features Decepticon Ground Hog and Roller Force that convert to mini toy car mode in only 4 steps.

Coming in at $29.99 we have three Voyager figures: WFC-E21 Decepticon Snapdragon (August 1), WFC-E22 Quintesson Judge (August 1), and WFC-E38 Megatron (October 1). These figures stand 7” tall. Finally, WFC-E23 Doubledealer is a new Leader figure for $49.99. This will be available on July 1, also measuring 7” tall.

Studio Series Wave 2 & 3

The cheapest figures in this series are the Deluxe 4.5” Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave, Transformers: Dark of the Moon Topspin, and Transformers: Bumblebee Movie Cliffjumper that will all be available on November 1 for $19.99. Next we have the Voyager figures that measure 6.5” tall and cost $29.99: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Sentinel Prime (September 1), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon Scrapper (September 1), Transformers: Bumblebee Movie Blitzwing (November 1), and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie 2 Constructicon Skipjack (November 1). The new 8.5” Leader is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon Overload which will be available on November 1 for $49.99.

Generations WFC Netflix Wave 1

In this series of figures, you’ll be able to get Deluxe versions of Decepticon Mirage, Autobot Hound, Chromia, Sideswipe, and Scrapface. These come in at 5.5” tall. The Voyager figures feature the 7” Decepticon Hotlink with Heatstroke and Hearburn Battle Masters who convert to weapons and the 7” Megatron complete with Lionizer and Pinpointer Battle Masters to convert into weapons. Finally, the Leader is Ultra Magnus at 7” complete with Battlefield Rung. In addition, Ultra Magnus comes with spoilers for the War for Cybertron series, but they’re written in Cybertronian. All figures will be available on April 1 for $19.99.

Generations Selects

The Micromaster WFC-GS10 Soundwave Spy Patrol (3rd Unit) is a 4-pack of figures that includes Decepticon Rumble, Decepticon Wingthing, Decepticon Skar, and Autobot Knok alt modes. These figures each stand at 1.5” and fit inside the chests of WFC-S25 Soundwave and WFC-S55 Soundblaster if fans own them. This 4-pack will be available on June 1 for $19.99.

BotBots Goldrush Series 5 Tribes

This series is full of blind box figures, so I’ll do my best to get everything I can for you. There are a total of 60 available characters in the series and each one comes in around 1” tall.

BotBots Series 6 Surprise Unboxing

The two sets in this series will be available on August 1 and each costs $19.99. Toilet includes 5 figures plus 1 rare gold figure and four stickers. The plunger accessory can be used to “plunge out the 10 surprises inside one at a time.” The Treasure Chest includes the same goodies inside, but instead of plunging a toilet, you can dig for the surprises.

Cyberverse

We’ll start with the Deluxe figures here that will retail for $19.99 and stand 5” tall. Fans will be able to enjoy playing with Grimlock (May 1), Hot Rod (May 1), Arcee (August 1), and Thunderhowl (October 1). Meanwhile, the $14.99, 5.4” tall Warrior figures will add Hammerbyte (April 1), Starscream (April 1), and Optimus Prime (August 1). For fans of the 5.5” tall Battle Call Trooper figures, be ready to add Bumblebee (August 1), Wildwheel (August 1), Meteorfire (August 1), Megatron (October 1), and Starscream (October 1) to your collection for $24.99. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will also launch as Battle Call Officer figures on August 1 for $49.99 and stand 10” tall.
