A Trip to Italy Turns Into Chaos For Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza in Trailer for SPIN ME AROUND

IFC Films has released a trailer for a wild new mystery-comedy titled Spin Me Around, which brings Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza back together for what looks like a chaotic adventure in Italy. The movie was directed by Jeff Baena, who previously worked with the two actresses in The Little Hours.

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

It sounds like the adventure of a lifetime: an all-expenses-paid trip to Italy, where a lucky few managers from an American fast-casual restaurant chain will get a crash course in the culinary arts against the backdrop of a scenic villa. Unfortunately, the getaway doesn't always match the brochure, and Amber (Brie) soon finds herself juggling mundane training exercises, an unexpected love triangle, and maybe an insidious conspiracy during her sojourn.

Brie and Plaza have great on-screen chemistry, and this looks like an interesting and unpredictable ride. Should be a fun and entertaining movie!

The movie also stars Molly Shannon, Fred Armisen, Ayden Mayeri, Ben Sinclair, Tim Heidecker, Debby Ryan, and Lil Rey Howery. It will be released in theaters and on VOD on August 19th.
