A "Twisted Serial Killer" Cinematic Universe Emerges with Jeffrey Dollmer and Ted Bunny
The producer behind Popeye The Slayer Man, Jeff Miller, is cooking up an interconnected lineup of low budget genre movies he’s calling the “Twisted Serial Killer Universe”.
The first two titles being developed are Jeffrey Dollmer and Ted Bunny, and both projects promise a strange, ambitious playground for fans who enjoy offbeat horror with a wild edge.
Jeffrey Dollmer just wrapped production and delivers exactly the kind of chaos its title suggests. The movie follows models on a photo shoot who find themselves hunted by a doll possessed by the spirit of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.
The film stars Charlie Trepany, Chey Crieger, Juliana Destefano, Adam Huss, Eva Hamilton, Mariah Justice, Scott Asmar, Jabarri Bush, Jane Xi, Tom Parnell, Sean Michael Conway, and Brian Joseph Mange as Dahmer. Fans will also spot Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of Final Destination, who pops in for a cameo.
The script comes from John Doolan based on a story by Miller, with Mark Savage directing.
Miller is clearly having fun building this world. He shared, “Mark Savage and the team and I have had a blast bringing this creepy doll to life. Audiences are in for a treat in this over-the-top killer doll film, which will be a great companion piece to Ted Bunny.”
That companion film, Ted Bunny, is still keeping its story details quiet, but Terror Films is producing it with Miller and Maralynn Adams.
The plan is to release it domestically in early 2026, giving horror fans something strange to look forward to. The cast includes Diana Roman, Zanna Wyant, Brad Satterwhite, and Dee Wallace, with Michael Fredianelli directing from a script he co wrote with Adams.
Miller’s twisted serial killer universe looks ready to lean into weirdness, camp, and old school horror energy.
