A Wise-Cracking Alien Crash Lands on Earth in Trailer For INVADERS FROM PROXIMA B
Here’s a trailer for a silly-looking sci-fi comedy titled Invaders From Proxima B, which centers on an alien who crash lands in the backyard of a family. It looks like a wacky little indie film that some people might enjoy. It seems like a project that the filmmakers had some fun with.
In the film, “When a wise-cracking alien crashes into their backyard, the Jankins family teams up with their fuzzy new friend, Chuck, to battle a dangerous array of weirdos that show up in hot pursuit. A bumbling father & son, an alien-obsessed hippie influencer, and passionate pest control worker are after it, as the situation becomes more and more chaotic and personalities jump from body to body. The stakes couldn’t be higher for Chuck, the Jankins, and maybe even all of planet Earth. Will everyone come out of this adventure with their bodies and minds intact?”
The film comes from filmmaker Ward Roberts, and it’s set to premiere at the 2023 Austin Film Festival in Texas. Roberts also stars in the film along with Samantha Sloyan, Bo Roberts, Mike C. Nelson, Richard Riehle, Jeremiah Birkett, and Sarah Lassez. Enjoy the trailer!
