A WRINKLE IN TIME Actress Storm Reid in Talks to Play Idris Elba's Daughter in THE SUICIDE SQUAD

A rumored report has come out that says actress Storm Reid (A Wrinkle in Time, Euphoria) is in talks to play Idris Elba’s daughter in the upcoming James Gunn film The Suicide Squad. Details are all under wraps, and there is no deal yet set, but The Wrap says their sources say Reid is the top contender for the role.

There is so little to go on so far for The Suicide Squad, but Reid would make a great addition to the cast. Hopes are high that this movie will be great, as Gunn has a pretty great reputation for making solid super-hero films like Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel. The last attempt at a Suicide Squad film was the 2016 film, and it really fell flat with fans. Here’s to hoping we get a great flick this time around.

Gunn is directing from the script he wrote, and the film is set to hit theaters August 6, 2021.
