A Young Spock Will Appear in Jonathan Frakes Directed Episode of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Season 2
Over the weekend, Star Trek franchise veteran Jonathan Frakes took part in a panel at El Paso Comic Con. It was there that he revealed that he would be directing two episodes of the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. He will be directing episodes 2 and 10 and that second episode will include a young version of the legendary character Spock.
It's said that Spock will appear in flashback scenes in the episode and that he will appear alongside his younger adopted sister, Michael Burnham, who is the lead character of Discovery played by Sonequa Martin-Green.
Spock was referred to in the first season, and at that point fans assumed that it would only be a matter of time before the character made an appearance, and now it's going to happen. There's no word on who will play this young version of Spock yet, but when it's announced, we'll let you know!
What do you think about Discovery introducing Spock into the series?
Frakes also said there will be a young Burnham in the flashbacks for episode 2 of season 2 of #StarTrekDiscovery #ElPasoComicCon
