A Young Teen Girl Brutally Fights for Her Life in Red-Band Trailer for BECKY
Quiver Distribution and Redbox have released a red-band trailer for the upcoming horror action-thriller Becky. Like most red-band trailers, this one doesn’t shy away from the blood and violence that this movie contains.
The story follows a rebellious 14-year-old girl named Becky as she’s brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father in an effort to try to reconnect after her mother’s death. The trip takes a turn for the worse when a group of neo-Nazi convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick, suddenly invade the lake house. Becky decides to take matters into her own hands and set a series of violent traps for the convicts as they come after her. This trailer shows her brutally fighting for her life!
Kevin James, who is mostly known for his comedic films, takes on the role of the leader of the convicts, and it’s a very different role for him, one that might be hard to take seriously, but, we’ll see! Simon Pegg was originally cast in the role.
The film stars Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation), Amanda Brugel (The Handmaid’s Tale), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes), and Joel McHale (Community).
Becky was co-directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion (Bushwick) and it will be released on Friday, June 5 in select theaters and drive-ins and on VOD.
