Aaron Eckhart and a Badass Dog Star in the Trailer For Action Flick MUZZLE: CITY OF WOLVES
A trailer has been released for the action flick Muzzle: City of Wolves, starring Aaron Eckhart and Tanya van Graan. The film is directed by John Stalberg Jr. from a script written by Jacob Michael King. The movie is a sequel to the 2023 film Muzzle, which was written and directed by Stalberg.
The film’s synopsis reads: “Jake Rosser is haunted by PTSD from his days as a K-9 officer and endeavors to lead a peaceful life with his family and retired K-9 companion, Socks.
“But the tranquility quickly dissolves when a ruthless gang targets them in a brutal attack. Determined to protect his loved ones, Jake and his new K-9 partner Argos delve into a violent underbelly of crime where Jake confronts corrupt officials, uncovers a perilous drug trafficking ring and battles his own inner demons.”
The first movie, which saw Jake’s dog Ace get killed, is why I generally don’t watch movies with dogs. It’s a trope that pulls at heartstrings and manipulates the audience to get invested.
It works, which is why they keep making movies like this, but it hurts my feelings. This sequel actually looks pretty fun though, as this dog is super badass, and he really leads the films as a co-star alongside Eckhart.
Check out the trailer below, and watch Muzzle: City of Wolves in theatres on November 14th.
