ABC Picks Up a Comedy Show About Former Teen Moms from Zoe Lister-Jones
ABC has committed to a put pilot for a new single camera comedy called Woman Up. The series comes from Zoe Lister-Jones who stars in Life in Pieces, Liz Meriwether who created New Girl, and Jason Winer from behind the camera of Life in Pieces and Single Parents among others. Lister-Jones wrote the story behind Woman Up and will serve as executive producer along with Meriwether, Winer, and Jon Radler.
“Woman Up is about two former teen moms who have worked their asses off to see their daughters all the way through high school graduation. And now, at 37, they’re ready to make up for the youth they never had.”
It could be fun, and I do enjoy Lister-Jones. It will all depend on who else stars in my opinion. Are you sold on it yet?
