Stephen King has recently found success with TV series such as Haven and Under the Dome. He's got another new series going into development at ABC called Grand Central. The show will be based on a short story called "The New York Times At Special Bargain Rates," which was published in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction in 2008.

The series is coming from Haven writers Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn, and according to the report, it is "a potential summer straight-to-series order." It's also described as "a character-driven procedural with a supernatural twist."

The story centers on a woman who gets a phone call from her husband who died in a plane crash two days prior. He warns her of an impending tragedy and saves her life.

Grand Central will premiere in the U.S. in the summer of 2014.
