Abracadabra! 4 Vintage-Style Magic Posters For NOW YOU SEE ME 2
Lionsgate has released four new character posters for their upcoming magical heist thriller Now You See Me 2. I love the style of these posters, as they were inspired by the vintage magician promotional posters of the early 1900s. The posters feature Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Lizzy Caplan as Lula, and Dave Franco as Jack Wilder. As ridiculous and silly as the first movie was, I still enjoyed the hell out of it. The Four Horsemen return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe), a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
The movie was directed by Jon Chu and it also stars Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Jay Chou, and Daniel Radcliffe. The movie hits theaters on June 10, 2016.
