Abraham May Be the First WALKING DEAD Crossover Into FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
Never having read the comics, I was gutted when Abraham Ford was killed by Negan in The Walking Dead. When Robert Kirkman revealed a few days ago that we may indeed get a Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead crossover, I wondered if we might possibly see a return of this iconic hero.
And it seems I am not alone. Season 3's finale appears to break even more ground with regards to this crossover. Michael Cudlitz, better known as Abraham Ford in Walking Dead, has been wanting to return to the Dead franchise, even if that meant playing a key role in revealing Abraham's backstory. Kirkman promised us a crossover, and even to me this seems like the most likely candidate.
"There is one character that is going to go from one show, that I will not name, to another show, that I will not name. This is a huge event in the world of The Walking Dead."
One of the biggest hints that it could be Abraham is in his backstory and introduction in Walking Dead. Abraham was surviving off a grocery store in Houston, Texas, when the apocalypse went down. After he found his family's corpses, he set off with Eugene from Houston into the Walking Dead series. And as you know, many characters in Fear are now speaking a lot about Houston.
So is this a sign? Are the series directors and writers leading us on a path towards Big Red joining the Fear set? Only time will tell. Tell us whom you would be most excited to see crossover into Fear the Walking Dead.
