According to a Quantum Physicist Ant-Man Could Beat Superman in a Fight

I honestly never really thought about what would happen if Superman faced off with Ant-Man. My first initial reaction to that would be that Superman would kick Ant-Man's ass. However, according to a Quantum Physicist, Ant-Man actually has the upper hand and could defeat Superman in a battle.

Dr. Spiros Michalakis, of the California Institute of Technology, recently did an interview with Inverse and talked about his experience of being a consultant on Marvel's Ant-Man. In the interview, he explained how Ant-Man's shrinking powers work:

“When I was looking to inject elements of modern physics into the script, I brought up this idea that, when Ant-Man goes into the Microverse and something malfunctions, he doesn’t just go to just a smaller space like Fantastic Voyage, (he goes to a step beyond the Proteus) … This is a place where the nature of reality changes around you. So, when you enter the quantum realm, its different set of laws takes hold.”

He then goes on to describe how Ant-Man being in the Quantum Realm gives him a tactical advantage over the Man of Steel, saying:

“What I’m saying is that potentially understanding the quantum code from which curvature of space-time comes from, [Ant-Man] could manipulate to increase it or decrease it.” Superman has, in the canon of the DC Universe, lifted 200 quintillion tons. But if Ant-Man had a way, he could crush Superman with 201 tons... Ant-Man could have created say, a black hole. Could Superman escape the black hole? Probably not. Then game over.”

This is just a scientific theory and there's no real proof that this is how a fight between Superman and Ant-Man would go down. At this point, the Ant-Man vs. Superman debate is now left in the hands of the fans. After reading what this Quantum Physicist had to say, do you think Ant-Man could really beat Superman?
