Action Comedy STUDENT DRIVER Headed to Netflix With MURDER MYSTERY Director Attached

A new action comedy called Student Driver has been picked up at Netflix with Murder Mystery director Kyle Newacheck attached to direct from a script by Peter Hoare (Standing Up, Falling Down).

Deadline reports that “Student Driver is an action comedy involving a substitute driver’s ed teacher and his students embarking on a madcap adventure.”

Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films is producing, with Tracey Nyberg heading up the project. This is early on in development, and details are limited, but it sounds like a movie that could be fun. We will let you know when we have more information.
