Action-Packed Trailer for Brad Pitt's BULLET TRAIN Is Loaded with High Energy and Style
Sony Pictures has released the first full trailer for the upcoming action movie Bullet Train, and it looks pretty awesome! The trailer is filled with crazy fun action, high energy, and cool style. The movie stars Brad Pitt, and it looks like he’s getting his one John Wick-style franchise, but the character he plays is very very different from Wick.
Pitt’s character is more of a wisecracking kinda guy, but the action is definitely in line with the Wick franchise. That makes sense as the movie was directed by John Wick, Deadpool 2, and Hobbs & Shaw director David Leitch, and it looks like he ended up delivering the cool action spectacle that we all expected.
The film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle written by Kotaro Isaka. The story follows five assassins who “find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”
The synopsis for the film reads: “An original movie event, Bullet Train is a fun, delirious action-thriller from the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch. Brad Pitt headlines an ensemble cast of eclectic, diverse assassins – all with connected yet conflicting objectives – set against the backdrop of a non-stop ride through modern-day Japan.”
The movie also features an impressive ensemble cast that includes Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Sandra Bullock, Lady Gaga, Masi Oka, and Andrew Koji.
Sony Pictures will release Bullet Train movie in theaters on July 15th, 2022.
