Action-Packed Trailer For Season 2 of THE ARTFUL DODGER Marks the Series Return
Disney+ and Hulu have released a brand new trailer for the second season of their historical adventure series, The Artful Dodger.
The season 2 synopsis reads: “Jack’s back! The Artful Dodger returns, and he’s in deep trouble. He’s got an appointment with the noose, he’s being hunted by Inspector Boxer, Port Victory’s new lawman, and if he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle, he’ll be hanged.
Meanwhile, Lady Belle is determined to forge her future in medicine, defying expectation and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already hanging in the balance.
With Boxer competing with Jack for Belle’s affection, the crafty Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose. Get ready for an explosive season of new characters and locations with more thrills, humor, heart, invention and deception than ever.”
The first season was released two years ago, so fans are stoked to finally see its return. Cast members coming back for season two include Thomas Brodie-Sangster, David Thewlis, Maia Mitchell, Susie Porter, Damien Garvey, Tim Minchin, Lucy-Rose Leonard, Nicholas Burton, Kim Gyngell, Luke Carroll, Vivienne Awosoga, Aljin Abella, Brigid Zengeni, and Albert Latailakepa.
New cast members this season include Luke Bracey, Jeremy Sims, and Zac Burgess.
This series is a fun take on the characters within the world of the classic Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist. I have to admit that I had never even heard of the show until now, but I am excited to watch the first season to gear up for the release of the second.
