Adam Devine to Star in TV Reboot of PITCH PERFECT for Peacock
Peacock is bringing back the Pitch Perfect franchise in the form of a new TV show starring Adam Devine. The actor starred in the first two Pitch Perfect movies, and he will headline the series and will reprise his role as Bumper Allen, “the vocal villain who fans love to loathe.”
The series comes from Universal Television and is being executive produced by Elizabeth Banks, who starred in and produced the films, and directed the second movie.
The series “will follow Devine’s Bumper Allen, several years after viewers saw him in the films, as he moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.”
This sounds like a funny series. Devine is a great comedic actor, and this character was annoying and endearing. Fans of the films will be sure to enjoy this show.
