Adam Sandler Discovers a Basketball Star in Fantastic New Trailer for HUSTLE

I don’t watch a lot of sports, but I sure do love a great sports movie, and it looks like Adam Sandler has made a great sports movie with Hustle! Netflix has dropped a new trailer for the basketball drama, which focuses on a washed-up basketball scout with big dreams who discovers a once-in-a-lifetime star athlete (Juancho Hernangómez) with a rocky past on the street ball courts of Spain.

The two partner up and head back to the U.S. where they will prove that they have what it takes to make it in the NBA. The basketball scout takes it upon himself “to bring the phenom to the States without his team's approval. Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.”

This looks like it tells an incredibly inspiring sports story and I’m all in! This trailer certainly did a great job of getting me pumped up to watch it!

The movie was directed by Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals) with a script written by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters. The movie also stars Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Kenny Smith, Ainhoa Pillet, Raul Castillo, Jordan Elizabeth Hull, Maria Botto, Heidi Gardner, and Robert Duvall. Hernangómez is a Spanish-born NBA player on the Utah Jazz, and he makes his acting debut in this film. LeBron James is a producer in the film.

Hustle is set to be released on June 10th, 2022.
