Adam Sandler's MURDER MYSTERY Gets a Sequel Order at Netflix

Netflix has ordered up a sequel to the comedy film Murder Mystery, a Netflix original that did very well at the streamer. The first film stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as a couple who decide to go on a big anniversary trip to Europe, where they get involved in a real-life murder mystery happening around them. Sandler’s character is a police officer, and Aniston is a lover of mystery novels, and together they make the perfect team to crack the case.

The film was hilarious and fun, and I’d love to see another one. THR reports that the pair are expected to come back for the sequel, with James Vanderbilt in negotiations to return to write the script. Sandler and Aniston previously appeared in the 2011 film Just Go With It and have been friends for most of their lives, making it pretty obvious they are having a great time together in their films.
