In a recent episode of Tested, Adam Savage visits the Propstore where he comes face to face with one of Indiana Jones’ original screen-used leather jackets from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

There are a lot of really cool and interesting details that are revealed in this video about the jacket and the production of the film. One of them includes how after Harrison Ford hurt his back, he couldn’t shoot, but Steven Spielberg kept shooting scenes anyway with Ford’s stunt double.

Few pieces of film history resonate as much with Adam as Indiana Jones costume--the iconic leather jacket and buttoned shirt a defining trait of not only the character but of the pulp adventure genre. One of the production's jackets has resurfaced, giving Adam a chance to see how it was worn and distressed for screen and the surprising weight of the leather.
