Adam Savage Shows Off The First STAR WARS Live Action Clone Trooper Armor
In a recent episode of Tested, Adam Savage was given the opportunity to get a close-up look at the first Star Wars live-action Clone Trooper armor that was created for George Lucas' The Phantom Menace. The video came with the following note:
The recent Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor shows were the first time in Star Wars that Clone Troopers were depicted in live action! The team at FBFX were responsible for the creation of the armor and costume worn on set, and Adam learns from FBFX workshop fabricator Alea Holland (and Imperial Stormtrooper cosplayer!) about how FBFX built the armor using Lucasfilm digital reference and the challenges of making it a practical costume!
