Adi Shankar Provides Update on DEVIL MAY CRY Animated Series
A few years ago, it was announced that Netflix was making an animated Devil May Cry series. Now, we have an update thanks to producer Adi Shankar who’s also developing it. In a recent interview with IGN, Shankar shared that the scripts for season one are complete and consist of 8 episodes.
Devil May Cry is set to span multiple seasons with its stories and will feature several fan-favorites including Lady and Vergil. Also, while no cast members were revealed or teased, Shankar did joke that Chris Pratt is not voicing any characters. Capcom has also been working with Shankar on the project with Hiroyuki Kobayashi himself being available.
Production on Devil May Cry is currently said to begin in early 2022. Are you excited? What are you hoping to see?
