Adorable Baby Groot Concept Art Created for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2
It was a lot of fun seeing Baby Groot in action and kicking some ass in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Today we have some cool early concept art for the character that was created by artist Josh Herman and they're absolutely adorable. When talking about the art created, Herman says:
"Baby Groot was super fun to work on! When we were told that he was going to be a toddler, I wanted to try doing some concepts with props in them to help in him looking more like child."
I love the child-like designs and facial expressions that he came up with for these. The end result that they ended up using for Baby Groot in the film was perfect. I'm excited to see how they play with him in future films as he gets older. Hopefully, we get to see teenage Groot will be in Avengers: Infinity War!
