Adult Swim Greenlights Two New Animated Series From Teams Behind ROBOT CHICKEN And RICK AND MORTY

Adult Swim has flipped the switch on two new animated shows that will both be premiering in 2017, and they sound pretty awesome. With veterans from Rick and Morty and Robot Chicken, the Cartoon Network programming block looks to continue their reign of ratings over late night millennials. Here's what they have on deck.

First up is Apollo Gauntlet which hails from Myles Langlois, an independent Canadian animator looking to bring 80s cartoons and new age comedy to a marriage. Apollo Gauntlet will be a 15 minute animation series in which an ordinary cop is transported to a futuristic medieval world. Obviously, this show gives off some He-Man vibes, which gets me excited enough as it is.

Next, we have Hot Streets which hails from a writer for Rick and Morty and Robot Chicken's Brian Wysol. The show features an FBI agent and his dog, niece, partner, and supernatural phenomena. This series has many of the Robot Chicken and Rick And Morty team on board as executive producers so I'm excited to see how it turns out.

We'll keep you updated when more information on both shows drop. Until then, keep it here!
