Adult Swim Orders Genndy Tartakovsky's Prehistoric Animated Series PRIMAL

If you’re a fan of Genndy Tartakovsky's work like Samurai Jack, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Star Wars: Clone Wars, you’re going to be happy to hear that Adult Swim has ordered his latest series project!

The half-hour animated series is called Primal and the story centers around a “caveman at the dawn of evolution” and a “dinosaur on the brink of extinction”. The two characters are bonded by tragedy, and “this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.”

This sounds like it’s going to be a great new show from Tartakovsky! I’ve always liked his style and above you’ll find a first look image featuring the two main characters.

Primal is set to premiere on Adult Swim this Fall and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
